Every year (except for a few since I've moved to Vancouver) has been spent with my family in Kitimat since I've been born. This year we couldn't keep up the tradition since my parents now live here and we spend it all together in Vancouver. When I got these photos it made me feel like I was there. I miss them so much and I won't forget all those Christmases together. Check out how they do it in Kitimat (holy crap I've never seen my uncle with gray hair! suits him well though).
I've seriously got the best friends in the world. The most delicious pre-Christmas meal put together by my buddies at the one and only "Lodge". They had it all man... delicious turkey, irresistible yams, mashed potatos (chunky and with skins which is exactly how I like 'em), peas, and stuffing! It was then followed up with Greg and Janine gettin everyone coffees from the nearby J.J. Bean and then Martin brought out the most killer cake I have ever eaten. It was covered in poriferolls... another one of my favourites! Good job guys. Marc we're going to miss you man. Lots of eating, drinking (rasberry beer), and laughing. Ughhh... I can believe the amount of over indulgence I took upon this Christmas. This has probably been the biggest gorge-fest I've had for the holidays... I've been telling people that I think I have a tapeworm or something. Seriously if you start at the beginning of my blog and scroll up you can visibly see the weight pile on in the pictures. Either way mum made some fantastic food! Kudos... never ceases to amaze me. Also got some cool gifts such as the digital camera (well just the money for me to buy one on boxing day since I'm so picky) and this nice Zirh mens shaving set from my buddy Sara. That shit was the bomb in the shower this morning! Thanks! Anyways enjoy the family pictures taken in the new home.
Well my Christmas dream came true. When I was in Kitimat I used to hear all these stories of spending the week of X-Mas at Whistler and I was finally lucky enough to do it. It was fun and I was a Whistler rookie but realised that it was almost like being up in my hometown. It helps when u go with such cool people too! It was funny how we did everything but snowboard and ski but we did manage to get totally smashed off of the biggest drinking no nos. This chick in a bar totally pissed me off killin my buzz where I decided to just call it a night and head home. It was until i heard voices come into our place as the rest of my crew arrived after a few more drinks to find this crazy bitch in our place. Well she was just a little crazy but more ghetto than anything else Needless to say I still hid my wallet. The next day was good breakfasts and walking around the village... sober. I have finally lost my Persian accent today.
